Love coming here after 4pm for their 30% off rolls! Their rolls are huge and definitely shareable. The fish is so fresh and the food comes out quickly. Sometimes service is a bit slow but still a laid-back spot to grab some quick, fresh sushi.

Probably the best value for the price for sushi in the SCV. It may not be as fancy as what some may consider the top notch spot in town, but it's a much better bang for your buck. Think SCV expectations for SCV prices versus LA prices for slightly higher SCV expectations. They have your typical standard and fancy rolls, including a solid rolls happy hour. The rice quality is good enough and doesn't take away from the nigiri. My go-to is the lunch special omakase for $26.99. Chef's choice of nigiri that does change from time to time. The slices of fish are generous and its a good mix of variety from standard to medium+. I believe the dinner version is more expensive but you'll be going up a tier in more premium neta. If I had to stay in the SCV for sushi, this is my usual spot. If I were to have a special occasion meal I might consider the other place. But then again if it was a special occasion I'd probably be dining outside of the SCV.

Ordered the dinner Bento box with beef bulgogi and crunchy sushi roll and it was delicious. The staff is amazing and kind and on top of checking in and the restaurant itself is amazing. They were running low on staff the night we went and they were still super quick and attentive throughout the evening.

I've been here SEVERAL times... absolutely LOVE it!! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is incredible... Recently, I went in on a Saturday afternoon and to my surprise they were quite busy for it being 2pm, however they made me aware while seating me that there was only one chef that day and it might be a little longer of a wait, I chose to stay because again I LOVE the food.. anyways I have to have to have to give a shoutout to Chef Tony... he was alone in a pretty much full restaurant and I watched him as he worked and the machine kept spitting out new orders for him.... But without a doubt he did his work to the best of abilities and I still got FANTASTICALLY presented and tasting rolls! I sat there truly amazed by him!! Also the waitresses, Dani and Adrianna are both fantastic and friendly.. Tokai sushi is a MUST TRY place!!

Found this place to grab a bite to eat while my telsa was charging. I'm so glad I did!!! Rhe food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I both gpt the bento boxes. And let me tell you these were the BIGGEST I've ever gotten. It came with miso soup,rice,salad,tempera veggies, spicy tuna roll, and teriyaki chicken. All this for $23 bucks. Now that's a great deal. I will definitely try this place again next time I'm in the area.

Tokai Sushi has become my son's favorite, so I wasn't surprised when he chose it for our late lunch. We arrived at about 2:30pm. We both decided on the lunch special 'Any 2 Specialty Rolls for 19.99'. My son ordered -- Wagyu Truffle Roll, Goldfish Roll, Giant Roll and Rock Shrimp Tempura Roll (our favorite). Lovely presentations, fresh and delicious. Generous portions. Incredible deal! Service today was great. We were checked on just enough and drinks were kept refilled.

Parking on site. A lot of other stores in same parking lot so it's hard to find a spot. Ample space inside for to dine in and there is outside dining available Friendly greeter and was sat right away Open for a great amount of time during the day. Most sushi spots split their hours late morning and then they close for three plus hours and open for dinner service. They stay open. Inside there are several TV's You can sit at the sushi bar or choose a table The quality of the fish is amazing for the price The pricing for the sushi is per piece not in a pair. However, it's still a great deal I also had a roll. However, I wasn't really impressed because there was so much imitation crab meat it almost overpowered the rest of the roll. Should consider reducing that a little. Also the bathroom was very clean I will be back for sure

Best Sushi Restaurant near Six Flags! Sushi lovers! Allow me to introduce you to your new favorite sushi joint away from home. You will be pleased with the exceptional variety of Japanese plates this restaurant has to offer. Not just that, the quality of the dish will have you planning for your next visit if you live more than a 10 mile radius away. My experience: Happy to say I found this restaurant on Yelp after spending a day at Six Flags. What initially caught my eye was the amount of items they have to offer. They have a very attractive menu with some fantastic looking Japanese dishes. I do have to say that is what initially attracted me to try this restaurant, aside from it being a sushi restaurant. Who ever put their menu together did a wonderful job showcasing the food in their work. The best part of the experience, the food was amazing! It was prime! Despite the variety of dishes that can be made here, the quality DID NOT suffer. Moreover, the sushi looked equally gorgeous, if not even more fabulous, than it did on the menu. The service here was chill and friendly. The waitress was attentive. It was easy to enjoy everything without having to feel pressured to hurry up and finish. The restaurant was fully staffed with all workers actively working and maintaining the restaurant. My wife and I did not have to wait very long for anything we ordered. All the dishes came out to the table promptly with NO extensive waits for any single item. Last but not least, the prices for each dish were not over the top - meaning nothing seemed overly priced. The quality, taste and presentation of the sushi made every dollar spent here worth it! I'm so happy to have dined here. I would definitely be a returning customer.
